Racquetball, Paddleball and Handball are a good way to stay fit.  Racquetball, Paddleball and Handball provide a real test of stamina, strength, power and reactions. These are sports that require a decent level of physical fitness and should not be used as a way of getting in shape.  To play Racquetball, Paddleball and Handball  you should have a respectable level of aerobic fitness. A good way to get fit would be to take up running to build stamina and maybe an exercise like yoga to improve flexibility. But do these first. Also make sure when you do start playing that you warm up and stretch before playing. Racquetball, Paddleball and Handball can offer similar health benefits to that of running with their frequent stoppages between points.  These are not sports to be taken lightly even if on paper they look like a one-way ticket to weight loss. It is also worth noting that the contained nature of the court makes players vulnerable to injury, whether from stray racquet swings or from collisions with players or walls. The Tournament House leagues offers a regular supply of playing partners and in leagues you will  be paired against people of a similar playing standard to ensure you get the benefit of a competitive match.

  • Club Members may reserve courts two days in advance. Court Reservation are taken starting at 8:00 am. Prime time courts are at a premium, so please do not abuse your reservation privilege by not using the courts you reserve.

The Tournament House has 6 beautiful air-conditioned, and expertly maintained racquetball/paddleball courts. Many of the sport's top professionals grew up, play or played at Tournament House.  Rich Wagner, Craig McCoy, Steve Lerner, Kelly Gelhaus, and Chris Crowther are all Tournament House alumni.
Our club hosts 3 major tournaments a year and offers continuous league play for men and women of all ability levels.  Leagues are available for  singles or doubles and for the novice, intermediate, and open players. The club offers expert racquetball instruction if desired, and has a very active challenge court.
Members may reserve courts up to 48 hours in advance.
We have been, and will continue to be, the most active and exciting racquetball club in Southern California.  We are dedicated to promoting racquetball with people of all ages and ability levels!
